Aarushi Mehta

I am an MS student at the Collaborative Robotics and Intelligent Systems Institute (CoRIS) at Oregon State University working under Dr. Cindy Grimm for the 3D Reconstruction of fruit trees for robotic pruning. I'm interested in helping robots make reliable decisions in the real, unstructured, and dynamically changing world.

From late 2021 to 2023, I worked as a Research Engineer at IIIT Delhi in the autonomous vehicle project ALIVE leading development on planning and controls. Previously, I was a Project Assistant at IISER Bhopal, working on underwater robotics and path planning in the MOON Lab.

I have experience with open source development as an Outreachy intern for QEMU in 2019. I graduated with a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication from VIT in 2020.
